Who we are
Chamber of Information Technology & Telecommunications (CIT) is Egypt’s leading nonprofit driving digital transformation across all sectors. Established in 1999, it unites industrial, governmental, and business efforts to strengthen Egypt’s ICT position globally. Representing over 15k members, CIT fosters innovation, supports exports, and aligns with Egypt’s Vision 2030. It focuses on enhancing service quality, workforce development, and global competitiveness. CIT also promotes digital tools for economic growth, ensuring a sustainable future while reflecting positively on the nation’s industrial and export rates.
The General Division for Digital Economy and Technology, established in 2001 under the Egyptian Chambers of Commerce, supports IT companies nationwide, including 10 sub-divisions across various governorates.
It focuses on start-ups and SMEs, tackling challenges, and enhancing the IT industry and high-value tech exports. Partnering with the Ministry of Communications and ITIDA, it drives initiatives for digital transformation and economic competitiveness. Its mission includes boosting local demand and exports, training, fostering innovation, improving e-commerce infrastructure, and conducting strategic studies.
EiTESAL for Information & Communication Technology, is the Egypt’s leading non-profit organization, has been a key supporter of the ICT industry since 2004. For the past 20 years, EiTESAL has played a crucial role in the development of the sector, focusing on networking, innovation, and growth opportunities for ICT enterprises in Egypt.
